Company History
The BAUER Group traces its origins to a copper-smith workshop founded in 1790 in Schrobenhausen, Bavaria. The company moved into specialist foundation engineering in the twentieth century and began building its own foundation equipment from 1969. In 2001 machine manufacturing was separated into BAUER Maschinen GmbH, alongside the construction business BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH, with BAUER AG as the group holding company.
