Overview
The GGZ Gleisgruendungszug (track piler) is a rail-borne fixed-leader piling rig jointly developed by RTG Rammtechnik and TECHNE for foundation works directly on and adjacent to railway tracks. The mast reaches approximately 23 m in height with a 13 m sledge stroke and a maximum working radius of 8.5 m; an additional 3.2 m mast-displacement stroke allows the mast to be positioned up to ~5 m above and ~4 m below top-of-track. Mast turning is ±90°, inclination is 5° in all three directions. Interchangeable attachments cover the full track-side foundation programme: KDK 200 Kelly drilling to 30 m depth and 1,350 mm diameter, MR 130 AVM vibrator for sheet piles up to 15 m long, and the MPZ 700 sheet-pile press for low-noise / low-vibration walls. Highlights include easy handling in restricted working zones, operator protection in explosive or contaminated environments, and complete parameter and safety indication in the cab.
