Privacy Policy

1. Scope and data controller

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed by RENTEK LLC ("RENTEK", "we", "us", "our") through the website uzrentek.com (the "Site") and directly related enquiry, quote, service, spare-parts and correspondence channels.

RENTEK is the data controller for that information. Our full identification and contact details are set out at the end of this Policy.

2. Categories of information we process

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may process the following categories of information:

• Form and contact data: full name, company, position/job title, business email, phone, location, preferred language and preferred contact method.
• Equipment and request data: manufacturer, product category, model, quantity, purchase preference, project or application description, required delivery date, budget indication, technical requirements, messages and any files you voluntarily attach where a form supports uploads.
• Consent and status data: optional marketing consent, request reference number and status of your enquiry.
• Technical and security data: IP address, date and time of access, requested page or URL, browser and device information and interface-language information where available, and security and rate-limiting logs.
• Local browser storage used to remember your selected interface language.
• Local browser storage used for the Batch Request feature (storage key rentek.equipment-request-list.v1): selected manufacturer/model/category identifiers, quantities, optional notes and the date added. This list stays in your browser until you clear it locally, and is not submitted to RENTEK until you send the request. Please do not include sensitive personal data in the notes.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you complete a form on the Site, contact us by email, phone or messenger, or otherwise correspond with RENTEK.

We also collect limited technical information automatically through the necessary operation and protection of the Site.

4. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to:

• respond to enquiries and correspondence;
• identify suitable equipment, spare parts and technical services;
• prepare, issue and administer quotes and commercial proposals;
• send confirmations and status updates about your enquiry;
• keep business correspondence, service history and internal records;
• prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorised use, and protect and improve the Site;
• comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations;
• send marketing communications only where you have given separate, optional consent.

5. Legal grounds for processing

We rely on one or more of the following legal grounds under applicable law: your consent; steps taken at your request before entering into a possible contract; performance or administration of a contract if one is later concluded; RENTEK's legitimate business and security interests, provided that your rights and freedoms are not overridden; and compliance with our legal obligations.

Submitting a form on the Site is treated as your consent to the processing of that submission for the stated purpose. Marketing consent is always separate and optional; refusing it does not affect our handling of your enquiry.

6. Recipients and service providers

Access to personal data is limited to persons who need it for the purposes above. We may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients:

• authorised RENTEK personnel bound by confidentiality;
• hosting, database, email-delivery, IT and security service providers acting under our instructions, including the platform services we currently use for database and transactional email (Supabase and Resend);
• relevant manufacturers, distributors, service partners (including KTS INDUSTRY where relevant to a service request), logistics providers and financing partners, only where reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry or deliver an agreed service;
• competent public authorities, courts, or professional advisers where disclosure is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
• RENTEK does not sell personal data.

7. International processing and sensitive data

Some of the technology providers we use may process personal data outside the Republic of Uzbekistan. When this occurs, we use providers and safeguards that we consider consistent with applicable Uzbekistan legal requirements.

The public forms on the Site are not intended to collect biometric, genetic, health, passport, payment-card or other categories of specially protected personal data. Please do not submit such information through public forms; if it is genuinely required, we will request it through an appropriate secure channel.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including handling your enquiry, maintaining our business relationship, keeping legal, accounting and audit records, ensuring security and defending against or resolving disputes. When those purposes have been fulfilled, we delete or anonymise the data where appropriate.

Data processed on the basis of marketing consent is retained until you withdraw that consent or until we determine it is no longer needed.

9. Security

We apply reasonable legal, organisational and technical safeguards to protect personal data, including restricted access, role-based controls, security monitoring, rate limiting on public forms and encrypted transmission where supported by the transport channel.

No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure. We ask you not to send sensitive information through unsecured channels.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request:

• information about, and access to, personal data we process about you;
• correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• temporary suspension of processing in defined circumstances;
• withdrawal of any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
• deletion of personal data where applicable law permits;
• lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority or court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

11. Marketing communications

We send marketing communications (such as product news or event invitations) only where you have given separate, optional consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect our handling of an existing enquiry.

12. Cookies, local storage and third-party content

The Site stores your selected interface language in local browser storage so that the correct language is used on subsequent visits. It also stores your Batch Request items (under the storage key rentek.equipment-request-list.v1) locally in your browser until you clear them or send the request. It also uses technically necessary session and security mechanisms.

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QV1P74C05K, provided by Google Ireland Limited) to measure aggregate site usage such as page views, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and language. Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you explicitly accept it in the analytics consent banner. No form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text or other personal identifiers are sent to Google. Your choice is stored locally under rentek.analytics-consent.v1. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The Site does not use advertising cookies, Google Signals, remarketing or behavioural profiling.

The Contact page provides a link that opens Google Maps in a new tab. Google receives data only when you open the link. Other third-party links on the Site (for example manufacturer websites or messenger platforms) are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Disabling technically necessary storage may affect Site functionality.

13. Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent of their lawful representative.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is identified by the effective date and version shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted through the Site.
