Overview
The MSM (Multi-Shaft Mixing) system is an economical deep-soil-mixing method in which up to four independently driven mixing paddles are screwed into the ground in parallel while cement suspension is continuously pumped through the hollow shaft. Panels overlap to form a continuous cut-off wall. Typical applications include containment of contaminated soils, groundwater barriers, sealing and rehabilitation of flood dams and dikes, excavation-pit walls and general soil improvement. The Column Mixing Drive can be mounted on any RTG piling rig from the RG 16 T BS 65 RS / 61 eh class upwards and, on telescopic leaders, supports RTG's Automatic Coupling System (ACS) for rapid attachment change.
