Overview

The BAUER BG 28 KellyLine is a purpose-built Kelly drilling rig on the BT 70 base carrier. In its maximum configuration it drills to 77.0 m with diameters up to 2,500 mm, using the 280 kNm KDK 285 K rotary drive. The Bauer kinematic system, heavy-duty base frame, hydraulically extendable undercarriage and single-layer M6 winches are designed for continuous foundation work. The rig supports uncased boreholes stabilized by drilling fluid and cased Kelly drilling, with an optional casing oscillator for demanding casing installation.
