Overview

Manufactured from 2007 through 2019, the 5700-C was the first Power Curbers 5700-series machine able to steer with all three tracks, pour with 3D/stringless controls, slip left- or right-handed, and — with the MAX package introduced in 2009 — pour the largest applications the platform had ever supported. It replaced the 5700-SUPER-B in production and was itself replaced by the 5700-D in January 2020. The machine transports at legal U.S. width (8'6" / 2.59 m) without a low-boy trailer, uses a direct-drive high-torque auger conveyor with 1 yd³ (0.75 m³) capacity, and combines a 42" (1.07 m) carbide-tooth trimmer with 24" (610 mm) hydraulic mold offset. Standard controls are SmartAmp digital amplifiers; optional networked digital controls add auto-slope, cruise control and readiness for Topcon, Leica and Trimble 3D/stringless systems. Today the 5700-C is offered only through Power Curbers' pre-owned programme.

Highlights

  • Compact — transports at legal U.S. width (8'6") without a low-boy trailer
  • Direct-drive, high-torque auger conveyor (1 yd³ hopper) — mixes concrete and clears in any incline
  • Hydraulically adjustable offset: 24" (610 mm) horizontal, 16" (406 mm) vertical
  • 42" carbide-tooth trimmer with 80" (2.03 m) hydraulic side-shift and 6" (150 mm) depth
  • SmartAmp digital controls with self-diagnostics and automatic stringline-loss shut-off
  • Optional networked digital controls: auto-slope, cruise control, all-crawler steering, 3D/stringless ready
  • 3D/stringless-compatible with Topcon, Leica and Trimble machine-control systems
  • MAX package option (from 2009) extends paving/barrier limits and adds all-crawler steering
  • Dual-side pouring conversion supported (approx. 3–4 h changeover)
  • Quick Connect mold-mount option — mold changes in a few minutes

Applications

  • Curb & gutter, ribbon (stand-up) curb and monolithic sidewalk with curb up to 7 ft (2.1 m) wide
  • Tight-radius parking-lot islands (as tight as 2 ft / 610 mm radius)
  • Barrier, parapet and variable barrier (up to 24" / 610 mm variability)
  • Cable-barrier / no-mow strips with optional post-hole digger attachment
  • Slot drains (integrated tube leaves a hidden drainage channel)
  • Center-pour paving up to 10 ft (3 m) wide — bicycle and golf-cart paths
  • V-ditch and U-ditch concrete-lined drainage up to 7 ft x 2 ft
  • Canal projects, tunnel utility channels, rail projects and stadium risers
  • Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) dam construction
  • Agricultural applications — livestock feed troughs, flush lanes, poultry-house foundations
