Overview
The Ammann ARX 10.1 is a light articulated tandem vibratory roller aimed at footpaths, cycle lanes, driveways and small asphalt repairs. Its two non-split 900 mm steel drums run in line and are both hydrostatically driven, while vibration acts on the front drum. Side-free drum mountings at the front and rear allow compaction flush to kerbs, walls and other obstructions, and the articulation joint with oscillation keeps the drums on the surface over uneven ground. Working weight is approximately 1,225–1,310 kg depending on configuration, rising to 1,398 kg fully equipped. Compaction is delivered by a single 0.5 mm amplitude at 76 Hz, producing 16.4 kN of centrifugal force, with a static linear load of 7.2 kg/cm on each drum. Gradeability is 30 per cent both with and without vibration, the inside turning radius is 2,470 mm, the steering angle ± 33° and the oscillation angle ± 5°. A mechanical drive lever on the right-hand side controls travel at up to 7.9 km/h. Power comes from a Honda GX 630 petrol engine rated 15.5 kW at 3,300 rpm (ISO 3046), offered in EU Stage V and U.S. EPA Tier 4 final form. Because the machine is petrol powered it needs no diesel particulate filter, which reduces maintenance effort and simplifies daily operation. Standard equipment includes pressurised interval water sprinkling with two-stage filtration, fixed scrapers, a horizontally adjustable comfort seat on an open platform with safety handles, a multi-function display with emergency stop, a central lifting hook and the Ammann colour scheme. Tank capacities are 30 l fuel and 110 l water, on a 12 V / 50 Ah electrical system, and the machine is ready for Ammann ServiceLink telematics. RENTEK supplies the ARX 10.1 to order in Uzbekistan, together with genuine Ammann spare parts and service support. Price on request.
