Overview
The Miller Formless M-8100 is a highly versatile slipform paving machine designed to pour multiple profiles from a single platform — curb and gutter, sidewalk, median barrier, bridge parapet, ditches and full paving widths up to 16 ft (4.87 m) straddle or 12 ft (3.65 m) side-mount. Four independently steered tracks and 36 in (914 mm) elevation tubes give full control over grade and radius, while the Tier 4 Final 173 HP (129 kW) diesel drives an eight-spool vibrator system and a heavy-duty modular auger. The latest-generation MFS control system ships with sensors and a handheld remote and is 3D-ready (Topcon, Leica or Trimble). The machine can be configured right-hand or left-hand and accepts a broad set of options — 45 in elevation, adjustable auger mount, straddle- and side-mount pave packages, hydraulic frame widening (48 in / 1219 mm), carbide trimmer, and telematics with real-time performance data.
